Volunteering

The activities in which you can participate:

Social activities: serving a hot meal (at the location of the organization); the cleaning of homes; the distribution of clothes and goods; visits to the residences

Fundraising activities: collection of goods; campaign 2%; help in the bookstore or in the tailor shop; making cards

Promoting activities: distributing pamphlets; participation at radio shows; participation at volunteer promotion seminars

Youth activities: participation in the clown team „Friends for a Smile”

Administrative activities: translation; help in the Social Worker Department and/or the Volunteer Department

The European Volunteer Service (EVS):

Is a project included in the Youth in Action Program – Action Number 2, financed by the European Commission. The Transnational Volunteer Support Service for people of the ages of 16/18 – 30 years old. Is focused on non-formal learning. Organizes volunteering stages for a period of a 2 month minimum – 12 month maximum. Covers all voluntary expenses including transportation, visa, accommodation, meals and pocket money for the duration of the entire stage. Offers exceptional possibilities of the volunteer's personal development.

So, if you are between the ages 16/18 – 30 years old and you want to be a volunteer in another country, please contact the coordinator of the Department of Volunteering for the Caritas Eparhial Oradea Association, which will help you to find the appropriate organization for your volunteering stage.
