On September 18, 2011, in the center of Oradea, will be the first large-scale sporting event - Oradea City Running Day, a day dedicated to running, for all age groups, different distances:

* 1km for children, aged between 6-13 years

* 4.5km - popular Race

* 21km – Semi marathon

* Relay semi maraton in 2

* Business semi maraton Relay (team building).

People participating in the popular Race you can support the initiative of Caritas Eparhial Oradea, the project A chance to a healthy life! Running will provide daily meals to homeless people, who without food, adequate clothing and proper hygiene will have a chance to reintegrate into the community.
