Caritas Eparhial awarded all the volunteers of 2009

In the great hall of the Greek-Catholic High school of Oradea, on the 4th edition of „The International Day of the Volunteers”, Caritas Association awarded all the volunteers for their activities in 2009.
The Friday of 11th December, had reunited over 100 guests; among those were students of the host Greek Catholic Theological High school from Oradea, their relatives, and also our honor guest Virgil Bercea, the bishop of Romanian Greek Catholic Church united with Rome. For a few hours the banquet room was in celebration for those who dedicate their time to help those in need. In their honor the president priest of the Association - Olimpiu Todorean, had prepared an artistic program that was dedicated to the main characters of the evening.”We are glad that thousands of hours were dedicated to those in need, those who are homeless, or cannot walk, it must be understood by us, and by the society that everybody is equal and disserve a chance”.
          The awarded volunteers received considerations diplomas, gifts, and special awards. The award for „A Warm Meal Program” went to Ligia Oprean and Ana Pele, the award for „A clean house” went to Corina Dragomir, and „The Good Samaritan” award went to Liviu Dat and Codruţa Tocai. Judith Romanescu was designated for the home care service volunteer. For „The 2% campaign ” the award went to Alexandru Petricaş. For the Christmas and Easter offertory the awards went to Cornelia Vesea and Vlad Raita. At the „Founding Raise Section”, the awards went to Ana Ghitulescu and Mariana Muresan. The award of „Tailoring” went to Georgeta Bencheu. „Friends for a smile” award went to Laura Puscas. For the „Volunteer and civic involvement”, the awards went to all the participants volunteers. For the „Maintenance activities” the award went to Simona Chivasi, and the award of „Promotion Activities” went to Andrei Nechita. The „most active” volunteer was Cristina Todorean, „the most available” volunteer was Ioan Bodea, and „Volunteer of the Year” was Alexandru Lucaci. There were also three special awards: Simona Todorean, Voichita Vascan and Sisters Franciscane Misionare ale lui Cristos, Maria, Pierpaola, Kasia and Maria Teresa. The event ended with a concert sustained by Raoul that also received a diploma.
