From 27th of May till 3th of June 2010, Caritas Eparhial Oradea received the visit of the partners from Caritas Rimini, Italy. The delegation of the Italian partner, four girls and three boys, was leaded by the director of Caritas Rimini, priest Renzo Gradara.

Caritas Eparhial Oradea suggested to their quests a varied schedule in order to accomplish the purpose of the visit: for the Italian youth to get familiar with the local realities, especially with the activities in which the Romanian young people are involved in, and to offer a life experience through works and testimony.

In 29th of May 2010 this seven youth participated as animators in The Gherla Cluj Eparchial Children Meeting that took place in Bistriţa Năsăud. There is where they were hosted in families, as well as the others animators, and they were able to get acquainted with the local community, but also to experiment the local realities.

Then on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday the youth have been to Oradea and they participated in some of the activities in our organization. They were organized in tow teams. In the cloths deposit, the girls sorted and prepared the clothing for kids in an orphanage, they distributed the daily warm meal for 30 beneficiaries and they also visited, with the social worker, some of the services users, in their families. The boys help with the preparation of the rooms for the volunteering department.

This Italian youth are part of the Civil Service and their activity is taking place in Caritas Rimini. This few days they spent here brought them in direct interaction with the Romanian reality and made them more interested in our country and culture.

This visit was the first step for a possible future collaboration between the tow organizations that could consist in the possibility for the Italians to fulfil the Civil Service in Romania.
