Caritas Eparhial Oradea Association organized the lottery for “Showers for the homeless” program, between 8th of March 2013 – 9 th of May 2013. For participation the persons should have buy a ticket with the numbers from 1 to 5000. The price of a ticket was 5 lei. Asociaţia Caritas Eparhial Oradea, a organizat Loteria pentru Duşuri Sociale. Loteria s-a desfăşurat în perioada 8.03.2013 – 9.05.2013. Pentru a participa, persoanele trebuiau să achiziţioneze minimum un bilet, pe care era înscris un număr de la 1 la 5.000. Valoarea unui bilet a fost de 5 lei. Vineri, 10.05.2013, în prezenţa presei a avut loc extragerea numerelor câştigătoare la Loteria Duşuri Sociale. Au fost tipărite un număr de 5.000 de bilete de loterie. During the Great Lent 2013, we organized a collection of food in Greek Catholic churches in Oradea Catedrala „Sfântul Nicolae”, Mănăstirea „Maica Domnului”, Biserica „Sfânta Treime” din Oradea, Biserica „Sfântul Gheorghe”, Biserica Înălţarea Domnului, Biserica „Schimbarea la faţă”, Biserica Seminarului „Sfântul Gheorghe”), Churches in Haieu. Believers have purchased or surrendered to different foods to donate them to those whose fate has been less favorable. The food has been collected with the help of volunteers. On 13 April 2013, starting with18 o'clock, was held in Oradea Shopping City, FRUIT FUSION charity evening event which was organized by Modiwo Band from Cluj Napoca and Oradea Acoustic 30. The price of entry to this event was 1 kg of fruit, which were later donated to children's centers in Oradea, among them the Day Care Centre for Children Gabriele, located within the Center Social Maria Rosa. The organizers along with Fairy Cloud, a voluntary from Caritas Eparhial Oradea Association, shared fruit gathered, bringing some joy on the faces of children. (read the whole article)

On 08.04.2013 medical assistant of Caritas Eparhial Oradea Association presented a lesson about healthy eating for the children from Day Care Center for Children "Gabriele". Children were presented the food pyramid with the 5 food groups: group 1 - bread, cereal, rice, pasta, potatoes; group 2 - fruits and vegetables; group 3 – dairy; group 4 - meat and eggs; group 5 - fats, sweets and oils.
